The focus of this campaign is to partner churches with the work of the food bank, fulfilling the biblical directive to feed the hungry. Your church can join our group of partner churches. Please call (712) 255-9741.
"Campaign to Feed Siouxland" will be held in September, traditionally, but you can hold your own fundraiser for the Food Bank of Siouxland when it works for you! The focus of this campaign is to partner churches with the work of the food bank, fulfilling the biblical directive to feed the hungry. We ask area churches to conduct a second collection and donate the proceeds to the food bank. We ask parishioners to donate $1 each -- a manageable donation that will grow to so much more with our collective efforts. And with just one dollar, the food bank can purchase 13 pounds of food!
Check with your local church to encourage participation...or send your private donation to the food bank. Together, we can make a difference!
