The Food Bank of Siouxland is hosting their 20th Annual Golf Classic on September 11 at Whispering Creek Golf Club. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Food Bank of Siouxland’s mission of fighting hunger in our communities.
In celebration of 20 years of the Golf Classic, Wells Enterprises is donating ice cream treats to anyone that brings a non-perishable food item for the on-site food drive.
Golfers are entitled to 18 holes of golf with a cart, along with a box lunch and dinner to follow the tournament. Contests include the fan favorite: Speed Hole where teams must strategize the fastest way to get their ball in the hole as well as the Orange Ball Contest where each team gets an orange ball to play with throughout gameplay, turning it in at the end to be entered into a raffle.
